Apps for daily living activities

Phone and Ipad showing appsThere are so many Apps being developed all the time; to make everyday life easier to manage and promote independence and safety at home and when out and about. The ILC Therapists have searched for some that we think could be helpful and you can read about them here. This is not an exhaustive list. These Apps are produced and maintained by third parties and are included as information, not as a recommendation. See our Apps disclaimer.

Dubbii is an app designed to help individuals with ADHD to keep on track with daily living tasks by doing them alongside a body doubling video which talks them through the task step-by-step. Examples include cleaning tasks, kitchen tasks, and personal care tasks like teeth brushing. PROS: You can choose a free task to test if the app might be suitable for you before paying the subscription (which is £4.99 a month). The couple in the body doubling videos are engaging, and you can choose between 2 videos per task with different presenters. CONS: Some of our testers found the app a bit difficult to set up initially. Version: 1.48.0. Available on Apple and Android. See website for more information: Dubbii app.
